Sugar Creek Photos

Janette Duffield of Sugar Creek Photos has been taking photos most of her life, but has only begun sharing that passion with the public since 2011. I have been a member of the Sand Painters Art Guild since 2011.

I am primarily a landscape and nature photographer. I am always trying to take pictures of hidden spots of beauty in the North Central Nebraska or South Central South Dakota. Really.....I take pictures EVERYWHERE I go. I believe there is beauty in everyday life, you just have to choose to see it. I try to capture that through my photography. I was the location manager for Aviation Cocktail, a full feature film that was filmed in the Valentine area in 2011. I have received Honorable Mention at the 2017 ANAC Show,  2nd place in the Doug Ballard Memorial Award and numerous Certificates of Excellence and other Honorable Mentions. In 2015 I was included in Fifth Annual Exposure Award. I had a print included in The Exposure Award Black and White Collection. A digital display was at the Louvre in Paris, France. This print was also published in the 2015 See Me Exposure Black and White collection book. I have also had work published in Rodeo News Magazine and Nebraska Life Magazine.

My husband, Jerry and I live in North Central Nebraska.
